This website does not yet fully comply with the requirements

Perceivable: Alt Text deficiency

Non-accessible content and its deficiencies

The website contains images, links and images with links that lack an alternative text. Such as, for example, social media icons in the footer, additional hotel images, and hotel filter buttons.

Accessibility requirements that are not met:

Perceivable: Adaptability remarks

Non-accessible content and it's deficiencies

The website has semantic issues, such as missing h1 headings. The fields in forms lack Fieldset or Legend elements. When logging in, Autocomplete is turned off. The site has table-like elements that are not actual tables. There are flaws in the header structures.

The site uses largely a two-column layout and there are a lot of semantic problems, because a screen reader first reads the right-hand column and then the left-hand column.

Accessibility requirements that are not met:

  • 1.3.1 Info and relationships.
  • 1.3.2 Meaningful sequence.

Perceivable: Several colour contrast considerations and things expressed only in colour

Non-accessible content and its deficiencies

There are a considerable amount of contrast differences. For example, in navigation, links, shopping cart, own information, search function and customer journey for hotel trips. For a keyboard user, many elements either have undetectable focus areas or they are completely missing, such as for example the focus edges of links in the footer, the Close button of the mobile navigation, the Show quantities button of the product category and the search field.

Accessibility requirements that are not met:

  • 1.4.1 Use of colour.
  • 1.4.3 Contrast (minimum).
  • 1.4.11 Non-text contrast.
  • 1.4.5 Images of text.

During peak seasons, the website has a video banner that cannot be stopped. This element is not always visible, but when it is used it is good for users to know that the banner is there.

Accessibility requirements that are not met:

  • 2.2.2 Pause, stop, hide.

Operable: Keyboard problems

Non-accessible content and its deficiencies

The website has elements that cannot be accessed with the keyboard, for example you cannot select the Close navigation button, the mobile menu, and destination or return date in the customer journey for a hotel cruise. With Firefox, you get stuck in the slide show below the customer journey on the home page when using the keyboard.

Accessibility requirements that are not met:

  • 2.1.1 Keyboard.
  • 2.1.2 No keyboard trap.

Operable: Navigation remarks

Non-accessible content and its deficiencies

There is a Skip to content button, but it is not semantically the first element. The button is in English on the Finnish page. There are several name tags that are not descriptive, such as logo with a link, shopping cart. In the mobile menu, the browsing order is not logical for a screen reader or keyboard user, the browsing order jumps or the focus leaves the menu in the middle of menu browsing to the page below.

Accessibility requirements that are not met:
2.4.1 Bypass blocks.
2.4.3 Focus order.
2.4.6 Headings and labels.
2.4.7 Focus visible.
2.4.4 Link purpose (in context).
2.5.3 Label in name.

Understandable: Error messages

Non-accessible content and its deficiencies

The forms have error messages that have not been translated into Finnish, or the input error has not been linked to the field. The forms are missing correction suggestions or they are incomplete. When you add products to the cart on the product category page, the status message is not read by the screen reader. The search field is missing a visible label.

Accessibility requirements that are not met:

  • 3.3.1 Error identification.
  • 3.3.2 Labels or instructions.
  • 3.1.2 Language of parts.
  • 3.3.3 Error suggestions.

  • 4.1.2 Name, role, value.
  • 4.1.3 Status messages.
