Seasonal specialities in Harvest and Game Delicacies Menu
Harvest and Game Delicacies Menu at Buffet Eckerö will take your taste buds to the forest. Our menu is serving up the delicious flavours of wild meats, mushrooms and berries, not to mention delectable fish.
The appetizer station is brimming with different fish dishes from herring flavoured with sea buckthorn to fresh salted salmon with lingonberry and mustard sauce.
The buffet also offers a variety of both hot and cold prepared game meats. For example, the cold appetizers include game pâté and game salami and the hot game meats include liver of reindeer calf with onion and lingonberry. Taste also game meatballs among other treats.
To go along with the meat and fish, you should try our roasted cabbage and peanuts and lovely veggies broccoli, cauliflower and carrots and of course mushrooms of the season.
We also have dishes for vegetarians and vegans. Everybody loves our vegan moussaka for example.
The dessert station offers you a taste of berries and chocolate among other delicious flavors. Our chocolate cake is vegan and it is an excellent complement to all the dishes in the menu. You can also enjoy cloudberry pannacotta and Finnish classic, squeaky cheese with cloudberry and brown sugar. Don't forget such buffet favorites as ice cream, sweets and cheese assortment to go with your coffee or tea.
